A car boot filled with clothing, a beating sun on my neck and scorching hot knock-off coffee - that's how it all began. Prior to the rest of the team arriving for the shoot, myself and Salome browsed through the clothing matching and mismatching outfits for the shoot. After a couple of yays and nays, the jury reached its verdict, we would go with leather and boots even though it did not sync with what we had planned - it felt right.
Its amazing how every individual can bring their own flavour to a classic such as leather and boots. Namibian beauty, Salome Luckhoff sure did bring her own style with to this fashion classic. Finally I got to to do what's been on the tip of my clicking fingers - leather and boots. From experience, style goes further than what one wears, it sparks from how you wear who you are. This can be seen in the mini portrait shoot I did with Salome. The outcome - beyond what I imagined. Who would think you could bring such great sophistication to a biker look. Working with Salome has been an absolute pleasure, theres nothing better than working with a model who can bring her on style to the shoot and clothing and yet still stick to the style of the shoot. |
